7 Incredible Saw X Easter Eggs You May Have Missed
2. Mark Hoffman returns!
Did you stick around for the post-credits scene?
If not, you may just have to go back to the cinema and watch Saw X one more time for Costas Mandylor's long-awaited return to the franchise, having become a key figure until his demise in Saw 3D in 2010.
Viewers need to wait a long time for Mandylor's sixth Saw appearance, though, as we only see a brief segment where he and Kramer are punishing the miraculously cured cancer patient Henry Kessler, whose scar has vanished alongside any sympathy viewers had for him.
In true Saw fashion, of course, the actual twist of Hoffman's appearance comes in the form of him being there all along, just not on-screen, as he helped Kramer track down Kessler, and even appeared in the trailer! Albeit with a distorted voice, saying a line which takes on new meaning:
"Of all the men to cheat, you picked John Kramer?"
Funnily enough, Hoffman's appearance is as close as we get to a police subplot in Saw X, the first Saw movie not to feature one, with almost the entire movie being based around Kramer seeking revenge for a cancer cure hoax that dangled the carrot of extending his quality and quantity of life.
