7 Mouth-Watering Films Quentin Tarantino Almost Made

7. Kill Bill: Vol. 3

Ever since Quentin Tarantino made his kung-fu inspired two-part slasher film, he has refused to rule out the possibility of making a third volume and checking in with Beatrix/The Bride a number of years down the line. Even before the second chapter was released, Tarantino hinted at a potential plot line, saying €œSofie Fatale will get all of Billʼs money. Sheʼll raise Nikki, whoʼll take on The Bride. Nikki deserves her revenge story every bit as much as The Bride deserved hers.€ Over the eleven years since Kill Bill: Vol. 2, there has been ideas floating around regarding some animated prequels. These rumours began circulating whilst Tarantino was making Inglourious Basterds, when the director raised the topic of it being his next project. He mentioned that there were no script just ideas, and he wanted a ten year gap between the second and third movie. However, that decade has come and gone and we still have no sign of a third film. That was until Comic-Con 2015.
Tarantino was in attendance at the comic book convention, where he showcased a 8-minute preview from his upcoming movie,The Hateful Eight. A fan (dressed as The Bride) stepped up and asked the director if he had plans for a third instalment. He answered, "Never say never, we'll see, when it comes to Kill Bill 3. Uma Thurman would really like to do it, we talk about it every once in awhile or so €” we've got to wait for Vernita's daughter to get old enough to go and kill her.€
