7 Movie Characters Who Gave Love A Bad Name

1. Alex Forrest - Fatal Attraction

fatal-attraction Alex Forrest (Glenn Close) is a very smiley woman. She spends most of the first part of this film smiling inanely at married literary lawyer Dan Gallagher (Michael Douglas). This inane smiling leads to something more intimate, followed by some impromptu 1980s latino dancing, rounded off with some lift based frolicking. These are the good times. Unfortunately for Dan, he has picked perhaps the worst girl in the world (apart from maybe Annie Wilkes) to have an affair with. The first not-so-subtle hint occurs when Alex slashes her wrists when he first tries to end things. This, it turns out, is only the beginning. The scary thing about Alex is that she retains an air of reality for most of the film - she isn't an obvious raving lunatic, or at least, not on the outside. She could easily be real.
