7 Reasons Why Monsters Was Actually A Terrible Film

5. Cringe-Worthy Dialogue

Whitney Able I Monsters There are many famous, memorable lines in the history of cinema. From "Dead or alive you're coming with me" from Robocop, the unforgettable "Life is like a box of chocolates" in Forrest Gump, and the iconic "I'll be back" from Terminator. It makes you wonder what kind of line would be the most memorable line in "Monsters." The answer is of course "I've got to pee." You know a film is bad when a line like this is the most memorable line in the whole movie. Not onlyis there a necessity for a line like that to exist in the film, but this annoying line it's repeated over and over and over again. And like 99% of all the other things that are in this movie all those scenes go absolutely nowhere. I know that the director was trying to imply that she was pregnant, but it appears that he thinks that wanting to pee is the only sign of being pregnant that humans have. What makes matters worse is the "dialogue" that both of them have whenever she has to pee is so pointless and dull that I actually believe a 4th grader wrote the script.
