6. James Franco Taunts Danny McBride While Ascending To Heaven - This Is The End
The Decision: In the third act of this uproarious comedy, it is discovered that the Rapture is taking place, and good people are being taken to Heaven. The guys realise that selfless, sacrificial acts will allow them to ascend to Heaven too, so when Danny McBride prepares to eat the surviving gang, James Franco sacrifices himself, at which point a blue beam of light begins to drag him skyward. However, Franco just can't resist one last-minute taunt to McBride, who angrily looks on below.
Why It's Stupid: God apparently decides that Franco's sneering is too much, and so the beam suddenly drops him back onto Earth, where he is summarily, hilariously devoured by the cannibals. Had Franco just managed to keep his mouth shut - an unlikely possibility at the best of times, mind - he would have survived...
