7 Unused Spider-Man Villains Who'd Be Great In The Marvel Cinematic Universe

6. Stegron

Who Is He? Stegron - or Stegron the Dinosaur Man as he is sometimes known in the comic books - was originally a scientist called Vincent Stegron. He was recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D. to work alongside a man who was Spider-Man's long-time foe, Dr. Curt Connors, to study the DNA of dinosaurs from the Savage Land. Having seen what reptile DNA had previously done to Connors (it turned him in to the supervillain Lizard), Stegron decided to inject himself with said dinosaur DNA. Before he knew it, he had changed into a humanoid Stegosaurus-like monster and had acquired the power to command other dinosaurs. He primarily became an enemy of Spider-Man. How Could He Fit In? Although Dr. Curt Connors is part of the Amazing Spider-Man continuity, the fact that Vincent Stegron was recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D. makes his potential inclusion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe fairly simple. The Savage Land has already been hinted at (in Iron Man 2) and movies like Age of Ultron could make it a featured location. If it does appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is found to house dinosaurs, S.H.I.E.L.D. will likely want to study them - that's where Vincent Stegron could come in. He could then become a villain in a future Savage Land movie to oppose the likes of Ka-Zar.
