7 Unused Spider-Man Villains Who'd Be Great In The Marvel Cinematic Universe

2. Morbius

Who Is He? He was originally an ordinary human scientist named Michael Morbius, that is until, through electric shock treatment and the ingestion of chemicals, he went through a transformation that turned him into a pseudo-vampire. This transformation didn't give him all of the powers and weaknesses of a traditional vampire, but he is somewhat vulnerable to sunlight in that it weakens him slightly. He can fly, possesses enhanced physical attributes, has the power of hypnotism and a reliance on consuming human blood for sustenance. He first appeared as a Spider-Man rogue and has been a thorn in the webbed wonder's side ever since. How Could He Fit In? Should Marvel Studios choose to bring a rebooted Blade in to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Morbius could be a great villain for the vampire hunter. In a deleted alternate ending to the first Blade movie with Wesley Snipes, Morbius was seen looking at Blade from across some rooftops, but Morbius' potential inclusion in the sequel was scrapped in favour of Jared Nomak and the Reapers. To appease those who wanted to see him in the first Blade trilogy, Marvel could use him in a manner he's been used in the comic books - co-operating with S.H.I.E.L.D. in order to capture Blade - only to later reveal himself as a villain.
