7 Unused Spider-Man Villains Who'd Be Great In The Marvel Cinematic Universe

1. Kingpin

Who Is He? The Kingpin is one of Marvel's most well-known villains and one of the most feared, intimidating, powerful and rich crime lords in the world. The head of Fisk Industries, he also has associations with other groups, such as the Hand, as well as HYDRA, for whom he is the head of the Las Vegas branch. He is a genius who also has amazing martial arts skills, expert strategic skills and tactical nous. His peak-human level strength and durability, added to his fighting ability, means he can fight even super-powered opponents evenly. He has become one of Spider-Man's most consistently tough adversaries and is more than a match for him in combat. How Could He Fit In? Fisk could be a crime lord in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with links to HYDRA, perhaps funding certain divisions and utilising their technology. He could step in to the role of someone who is currently absent from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, perhaps like Norman Osborn, and assume the responsibility of putting together a team of Dark Avengers or launching an attack on Asgard (such as in the "Siege" storyline, when Osborn manipulated Sentry in to doing his dirty work). Fisk could potentially become a big player in the Marvel Cinematic Universe but, then again, he could also be used as a Daredevil villain in the Defenders Netflix series (after all, he is just as much a Daredevil antagonist as he is a Spider-Man antagonist - indeed, he has already appeared in the first attempt at a Daredevil movie, when he was played by the late Michael Clarke Duncan). So there you have it - seven unused Spider-Man villains who'd be great in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Which other Spider-Man villains look set to go unused in the current Amazing Spider-Man franchise? Could they be utilised in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
