7 Ways Movie Theaters Can Be More Exciting

5. Program More Double Features

DblFeature

Who can turn down two-for-the-price of one? NOBODY. Double features used to be much more prominent in the heydey of drive-ins (and still happen at the handful of drive-ins left). People are more willing to part with their money if they know they are getting a good deal. Theaters probably wouldn€™t show the newest films but hell, even if you slap together two movies that are 3-months old, people will consider it. Even better, it would encourage more concession sales since customers would remain at the theater for longer periods of time. It€™s really a win-win for everyone and wouldn€™t cost the theater a dime to implement.
