7 Ways Movie Theaters Can Be More Exciting

2. Put In A Full Bar

NOW we€™re talking! Going to movies can often be a social experience. Although I go to the movies alone fairly often, I€™m always happier when accompanied by other smiling faces. And what goes great with movies and friends? Alcohol! We like to catch up a bit before heading to a movie and this usually happens over a pint of beer or a well mixed drink. So why not include that experience at the actual theater itself?

Although some theaters do have bottles of beer for sale, I€™m talking about a full fledged bar with expert bartenders. A place to sit down and relax, perhaps even with movie trailers playing on flat screens nearby. This is all money that is being spent elsewhere, money that could be going back into the theater. Why make us go to two different places? Plus, there have been a few times where after having a drink or two with friends, we changed our minds about our night and went somewhere else. This could also work for people leaving a movie. Pull us in and give us more of a reason to stay.
