7 Ways The Next Fantastic Beasts Film Can Turn Around The Franchise

6. Place More Of The Film In The Wizarding World We Grew Up With

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald
Warner Bros.

If you saw Crimes of Grindelwald in a packed theater, you may recall the delighted reaction when the film brought us back to Hogwarts. Though it has been announced that each of the Fantastic Beasts films will take place in a different country, it is important to note that the fans seem to like the universe best when it is set in Britain.

Though it is not always best to simply "write what you know" it is clear that the culture that JK Rowling knows best is that of Britain. Crimes of Grindelwald was mainly set in Paris and the only thing that told us so was the shots containing popular Parisian landmarks.

While it makes sense for the rest of the series to be set in other places in the world, considering our villain is running from the law, it is important that there be more than just visual proof. Rowling needs to make every part of the world feel different from the last, while still encapsulating the same energy as the world she created in the original series.

More scenes that bring us back to Hogwarts wouldn't hurt either.
