7 X-Men That Badly Need Recasting and Who Should Play Them

2. Emma Frost

If you€™ve read my previous article, you will know how much I hate January Jones€™s portrayal of probably my current favorite X-Man Emma Frost. For all of the scenes in X-Men: First Class in which January Jones plays the character, she looks like either she wasn€™t paid enough (probably shouldn€™t have been paid at all) or she would really rather be somewhere else. At any rate, she obviously wasn€™t that excited to be in an X-Men movie, or even knew how awesome the character she was playing really was in the comics. She probably only read the first couple of issues in which Emma Frost appeared (if she even prepared at all) and didn€™t realise how important Emma Frost would soon become. She basically became the new Jean Grey after Jean died, and Cyclops€™s new love interest. Anyway, I€™ve bitched on enough about January Jones for one weekend, and I don€™t think I really have to go into any more detail with you about why she was so terrible in this movie (you should already know). Who Should Play Her: I said it before in my previous article and I will say it again now. Sarah Michelle Geller. Maybe it€™s just because Buffy the Vampire Slayer is my favorite television series of all time, and therefore SMG is my favorite television actress of all time, but she really, really is such an underrated actress born to play roles as great as this one. If she could play Buffy as well as she did, then she could certainly play Emma Frost (the characters have many similarities) with the right direction. If you never watched Buffy then I probably will never be able to convince you why SMG would be so great. But if that€™s the case, maybe you should go watch Buffy€
