2. Damian Lewis - Doctor Doom

Doctor Doom is one of the outright best and most complex characters in Marvel comic books. He has, however, been totally butchered twice on screen - by Julian McMahon and Toby Kebbell (dis)respectively - so it might be hard to attract a truly top name to what might be seen as a cursed role. That's not to say there aren't some fantastic potential actors who could step up to the plate and prove doubters of the character's cinematic potential wrong - in fact, there are some who could totally smash it and elevate themselves to award-worthy mega-stardom. Damian Lewis - who is far better known for television roles than he is for movie roles - could be one of those actors. He has played politicians, patriarchs, kings, antagonists and outright villains - all of which will have prepared him for the role of Doom. He has the chops to convey power, might, willpower, leadership qualities and many more traits that are strongly associated with the Latverian villain. Moreover, he has the red hair that Victor Von Doom has under his famous mask and isn't too dissimilar in terms of his facial features. If Doom was to come over to the Marvel Cinematic Universe - which is largely expected after the recent failure of Fox's latest Fantastic Four movie - Lewis would kill it as the franchise's new big-bad.
