8 Actors We Wish Hadn’t Already Appeared In The MCU
2. Jennifer Connelly
Honestly, you wouldn't be amiss for not even knowing that Jennifer Connelly was in the MCU. She played the voice of the suit-interface Karen in Spider-Man Homecoming and it felt like a waste of an amazing talent.
This wasn't even her first run in with Marvel as she also appeared in 2003's Hulk, which wasn't part of the MCU canon - so it seems that she's never had much luck when it comes to Marvel.
Her presence as Karen went by unnoticed, and that's a shame as she could have been capable of being groundbreaking if she were put into a larger role, such as a leading villain, regular supporting character or even a superhero.
It seems her appearance in the movie was more of an in-joke with the producers and herself, as she played what could be considered the female equivalent of J.A.R.V.I.S who was portrayed by her real-life husband, Paul Bettany.
There's still hope that she could appear again - especially as J.A.R.V.I.S. ended up transitioning into the role of Vision - but fans will have to cross their fingers tight for that.
