First Role: White Power Dave in All Hail The King

Second Role: Melvin Potter in Daredevil

Matt Gerald's first appearance in the MCU wasn't even in a movie or a TV show, but on the home media release of Thor: The Dark World in 2014.

The Blu-Ray/DVD contained a short film - dubbed a 'One-Shot' - called All Hail The King, a follow-up to Iron Man 3 that detailed exactly what happened to actor Trevor Slattery after he's captured at the end of that movie.

Slattery literally bumps into 'White Power Dave' while in prison, spilling his food tray down the inmate's clothes ("You ruined my jumpsuit, b*tch"). Dave then threatens Trevor, calling him out for not being the real Mandarin, before being scared off by Trevor's goons.

Then, one year later, Gerald popped up in a completely different role in Marvel's Netflix series, Daredevil. He played Melvin Potter - Matt Murdock's equivalent of Lucius Fox - in both seasons of the show, and could return for its third, since the character is still alive.

He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show.
