8 Actors Who Reprised Their Most Iconic Roles In Music Videos

2. The Cast Of The Karate Kid (No More Kings - "Sweep the Leg")

The Characters: Daniel Larusso and half the principal cast of The Karate Kid.

When a relatively unknown pop rock band releases a music video for a song called "Sweep the Leg," there are certain expectations. 1) There will be numerous references to The Karate Kid, 2) Someone will perform the iconic Crane Kick, and 3) It should, at the very least, feature a Ralph Macchio lookalike. Well, No More Kings exceeded those expectations in nearly every way, bringing back Ralph Macchio (aka Daniel Larusso) and most of the Cobra Kai gang, including their sadistic sensei, played by Martin Krove.

Notably missing from the "Sweep the Leg" cast is Mr. Miyagi (who passed away a couple of years before this video was shot) and Elizabeth Shue, who I refuse to believe had better things to do. Not only does this video who us what the Cobra Kai have been up to since the All-Valley Tournament (turns out at least one of them is living in a trailer in the dessert, so it's not totally unlike what we expected), but they also recreate the epic final fight that birthed the iconic phrase the video is named after. Macchio doesn't show up until the very end, so make sure to watch it all the way through.
