8 Actors Who Went Out Of Their Way To Insult Their Fans

3. Robert Pattinson Thinks Twilight Fans Are Some Kind Of Cave-People

There aren't many people who seem to have had a good experience with bringing Twilight to the screen. Kristen Stewart described her time making the films as "traumatic", while even Stephanie Meyer, author of the series of books, in 2013 basically disowned the franchise with a curt "I am so over it".

Perhaps no one has been more brilliantly vocal about Twilight's rubbishness than Robert Pattinson, though, who has in the past likened his "slightly constipated and stoned"-looking character to some kind of creepy axe murderer and called Meyer's Twilight book "like something that wasn't supposed to be published".

However, neither comment has anything on Pattinson's description of Twilight fans, who are, apparently, "intense", mainly "older" people sitting at computers all day and commenting "on anything having even remotely to do with Twilight". Fans weren't happy Pattinson had said they were like some breed of vampire-loving troglodyte, but he gave the interview in 2013, when the franchise was thankfully already over for him and everyone else, so who even cares.
