8 Actors Whose Upcoming Movies Could End Their Careers
4. Hitman: Agent 47 - Rupert Friend
Hollywood seems determined to get the Hitman video game off the ground as a working cinematic franchise, despite the fact that a) they tried once, failed and made an awful film and b) nobody is really all that bothered about it actually happening, 'cause it's 2015. Despite that, Hitman: Agent 47 is on its way this year, and you have to feel a little bit sorry for the poor b*stard headlining it: that is, actor Rupert Friend, who you may recognise from TV's Homeland, has been cast as the bald character of the movie's title - the enigmatic (and let's face it) totally boring assassin, Agent 47. The movie cost a mere $25 million dollars to produce, but it might struggle to pull that back into theatres regardless. And Friend - who doesn't really have all that much to work with in terms of "character" - will be poised front and centre in the midst of a bad movie, at which point any future career options will vanish from view almost immediately. Better off not assuming such a risky role in the first place, surely? Especially since there's never been a successful video game to movie adaptation to date.
