During his time there, Wolverine began to wear this minimalist black leotard with gloves, embracing his inner-ninja and allowing him to take a stealthier approach to his work.

This simple design is more effective than you might expect, putting the character in touch with his roots and allowing him to shed his former blue and yellow persona, really solidifying the idea that Wolverine is an interesting character on his own, not just as part of the X-Men.
