6. Age Of Apocalypse Wolverine
Arguably one of the coolest incarnations of the character to date, the Age of Apocalypse version of Wolverine sat outside the mainstream Marvel continuity, set in an alternate timeline after Apocalypse has caused, well... the apocalypse.
With a red and black suit, wild hair and an inexplicably awesome missing left hand, this Wolverine really means business. In fact, even the likes of Magneto have to keep his rage under control over the course of the story. He lost his hand clawing out Cyclops' eye by the way, and as if that wasn't already cool enough, he can still utilise the claws on this missing hand to startling effect.
As previously mentioned we did get a small glimpse of berserker Wolverine goodness in X-Men: Apocalypse, but it'd would've been that much more awesome if we met this version of the character given the film's similar subject matter.
