Phil Lord and Chris Miller are perhaps best known as the directors for the suprise comedy hit of 2012, 21 Jump Street. They are, however, on a pretty good run of form. Their debut Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs proved a huge hit with children and adults alike, even spanning a sequel in 2013 which the pair helped outline the story. Not their only film in 2014, the duo also directed the upcoming 22 Jump Street, but it's with The Lego Movie that they return to their roots of animation. With the likes of Will Arnett, Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill voicing various members of the Justice League, this is sure to be an off the wall, anything goes comedy. It will also serve as Chris Pratt's first leading man role before venturing into the aforementioned Guardians of the Galaxy later in the year. As this is one of the 2014's earliest releases, it hopefully will set the tone for an excellent coming 12 months at the cinema.
