3. Freddy vs Jason vs Ash
This is a film that a lot of horror fans wanted to see, because lets face it, the meeting of the main characters from 3 of horrors greatest series; Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street and Evil Dead would an event to bring in the gorehounds like no other. The idea for all three characters to share the screen was being thrown around during the release of Freddy vs Jason fans had been asking questions of who should be in the sequel, and though classic horror icons like Michael Myers and Pinhead were mentioned, it was Bruce Campbell's Ash that fans wanted. The trio of Freddy Jason and Ash would have been awesome. Each have their different characteristics; Jason is strong and mute, Freddy is psychotic and chatty and Ash is, well, human, and the only hero of the bunch. Simply put, it would have been the perfect melting pot. Just to rub salt in our wounds, Robert Englund had reportedly said that the film was incredibly close to being made, but there was some disagreements between Sam Raimi and the studio about who should be victorious in the three way battle. There is no doubt that the film would have drawn the crowd, but once again, studio bosses get in the way of people who know the characters inside out. The closest we have gotten to this was a comic book series in late 2007 that ends up with Freddy banished to the deadite world and Jason and the Necronomicon frozen underneath Crystal Lake. This is all well and good, but it is the film we all desperate to see.
