A breakout star in The Sixth Sense, Haley Joel Osment was pipped at the post by Michael Caine for a Best Actor Academy Award in 1999. One can only wonder what his life would be like now... Probably much the same, actually, as critically-acclaimed performances in Artificial Intelligence and Pay It Forward haven't stopped the actor from fading into relative obscurity, despite having relatively steady work (including voicing Sora in the Kingdom Hearts games).

Osment hasn't necessarily disappeared from Hollywood, but his face has certainly taken a backseat to his voice, which has appeared in numerous animated films and video games. But his live-action appearances have tended towards cameos in television shows like It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia and larger roles in obscure films like Wake The Dead.
