8 Best Donald Glover Roles

6. Spider-Man: Homecoming - Aaron Davis

Even though Donald Glover has actually voiced Miles Morales in Disney XD's Ultimate Spider-Man series, when it comes to live-action he is nowadays a tad too old to play Miles. Still, Glover happened to be the perfect casting choice for a role in Spider-Man: Homecoming because his natural comedic wit and personality fits within those stories and the tone that director Jon Watts struck with his vision for Tom Holland's Spidey.

Though it was very much a supporting role, Glover brings a warm and engaging side to low-level criminal and weapons dealer Aaron Davis. Of course, those familiar with Aaron Davis will know that he later becomes the Prowler and fights his nephew Miles' incarnation of Spider-Man.

Glover's role in the MCU has a chance at getting much bigger should Marvel decide down that route and not leave the character as more of a nod to the wider Spider-Man lore. Who better to portray a loving, charming uncle and a dangerous enemy for a Miles Morales Spider-Man than Donald Glover?

Let's hope we see this role become something far bigger in the films to come.
