8 Best Donald Glover Roles

When casting younger versions of beloved characters for Solo: A Star Wars Story, it was always going to be a tricky process. In spite of this, the fans sent out their voice in unity as to who they wanted to play the younger version of Lando Calrissian, and those voices were answered in the affirmative.

It had to be Donald Glover, as there was nobody else with the same natural magnetism and sense of humour that made Billy Dee Williams's Lando who he was. Taking the role from ol' Billy Dee and making it his own, whilst perfecting the voice and nuances that Williams laid down decades before, must have been a hard job - though Glover made it look so effortless in his smooth portrayal of the charismatic rogue.

The vast majority lauded Glover for his portrayal of Lando, and that he will now reprise that role for his own Disney+ series shows just how good he was as Calrissian.

It will be interesting to see where Disney take this next. So long as we have Donald Glover to count on, we know that he will bring the qualities that made his shining role in Solo so watchable.
