4. Shrink

Now that Rob Liefeld's stock has risen in Hollywood on the back of Deadpool and its sequel's success, it's inevitable that more of his comics are considered for adaptation. Strangely, the latest announcement sees Sony reviving an adaptation of Shrink from Liefeld's short-lived original superhero story, which they initially picked up years ago.

The story is described by Deadline as "a high-concept twist on Analyze This" and follows a shrink, Dr. Jessica Powers, dealing with superhero patients with inevitably complicated lives. There was a film initially planned froma script by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa that Sony had owned back in 2000, but the rights lapsed. Producer Adam Fields then found it and Sony secured the rights again for the project to move forward.

It sounds like the perfect opportunity for more trope-destroying Liefeld cleverness.
