8 Big Movie Stars That Started As Background Extras

8. Evangeline Lilly - Freddy Vs. Jason

Fans waited well over a decade to see the two titans of horror cinema clash in 2003's Freddy vs. Jason. If it was worth the long wait is a matter of opinion but it was goofy fun for what it was. But getting to the climatic smack-down between the two maniacs meant a good hour's worth of tedious exposition being laid down by a cast of vapid teenagers. In an early scene the lead character is in a school hallway having a panic attack as she describes a nightmare about Freddy and all the other kids gather around and listen, as you would. But if your eyes should wonder to the background of this scene you might see a familiar face looking on. Your eyes don't deceive, that really is Lost and The Hobbit star Evangeline Lilly trying her best to look interested in what's being discussed. Just look out for the girl with the green sleeves and she'll be easy to spot. Her presence in this scene also exposes a delightful continuity error as she appears on both sides of the conversation. On one side she's seen clutching a book and on the other she's walking pass with her boyfriend who has his arm draped around her. Who knows, maybe they're twins?

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
