7. Fast And Furious 7 Replacing Paul Walker With CGI And Body Doubles

Paul Walker's sudden death back in November not only shocked audiences and fans, but caused a major delay in production of Fast and Furious 7, which the actor was currently filming. Production is just now resuming as the film heads toward its April 10, 2015 release date, and the studio is trying to find a way to complete the film while honoring Paul's memory and the work he'd already done. It's a difficult situation, no doubt, and I don't envy director James Wan for the tough decisions he's had to make over the last few months. We'v already heard that they plan to give Walker's character a proper and happy send-off, and now have some idea on how they attempt to do it. According to the New York Daily News, they will use CGI, voice effects, and body doubles in the scenes where Walker appears. Four actors have been hired who resemble Walker, and they will be given Walker's face through the magic of CGI. It's a similar effect to what they've done in films like The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button and The Social Network, but those actors were still alive to film the added CGI effects, so I'm curious about how this will eventually look on screen. I figured they would have to do something like this (really, what else could they do?), and am anxious to see how fans of Walker will respond to this news.
