8 Characters That Need More Screen Time In Avengers: Age Of Ultron

7. Iron Man

He's had the second most screen time of any of the Avengers in the first film, appearing in the most movies out of any of the main team. So it's safe to say that Iron Man has been seen plenty on screen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far. So why is he on this list? Put simply, people love Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark. He just encapsulates the character, and is always value for money. His performance is a big part of why the MCU took off in the first place. It'd be a shame not to give people what they came to see, and a shame not to get as much use out of Downey, Jr. in his career-defining role, especially with no Iron Man 4 on the horizon (yes, he's in the next Captain Amreica, but they should still use him as much as they can here). Actually, being in the next Captain America is another reason he should get more screen time here. It's looking like Stark will be a key factor in driving the story forward for Phase Three, and the conflict between him and Cap is going to need setting up. Where better than Age Of Ultron - especially since the Stark is the creator of the metal menace.
