8 Characters That Need More Screen Time In Avengers: Age Of Ultron

6. Baron Strucker

So far Baron Strucker has only had a short cameo in the end-credits scene of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. However, as he's one of the many leaders of Hydra in the comics expect him to become a bit more prominent as time goes by. In his role, Strucker could be a key part of the universe going forwards, as any schemes from the evil society will have to come through him. He could also be a very interesting adversary in a Universe lacking world class villains. He's a physical threat, trained in various forms of combat and a master strategist to boot, so it's easy to see him causing problems for the Avengers. Furthermore, he has various deadly weapons, including a gauntlet called the Satan Claw that allows him to emit electrical shocks, and can release a lethal virus called the Death Spore from his body. While it's unclear how many of these powers will actually feature, a focus on a powerful threat alongside Ultron could benefit both the movie and the universe. Strucker's appearance in Age Of Ultron is more likely to have something to do with the introduction of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver than being central to the film himself - he was shown to have them locked up in the mid-credits scene in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Still, he needs an expanded role from his earlier glorified cameo - it's through him that you'll find out more about Hydras plans.
