4. Black Widow

Black Widow had a huge part in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but still deserves more time invested into her story. Thanks to Scarlett Johansson's performance, Widow's one of the most popular characters to feature so far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, to the extent that there have even been petitions for her to get her own movie. Which, if it's anything like her appearances so far, would be fantastic. The fact that she hasn't got that solo movie, or even a joint film with Hawkeye, is a real disappointment to large chunks of the fanbase, and a key reason why she needs more screen time here. There's still a lot of her backstory unexplored and therefore a lot of mystery surrounding the character. More focus on Black Widow would allow her fans to get some more answers, leading to more overall satisfaction with the movie. She's also one of the few female heroes in a largely male cast, and a complex, interesting character as well. She needs more focus so that the film doesn't just become all about the guys - in case you haven't noticed, there have been a lot of those already.
