4. Indy The Pervert - Raiders Of The Lost Ark

When George Lucas first conceived "Indiana Smith," the character who would later go on to become Indiana Jones, he saw him as an archaeologist playboy - more of a James Bond-type character: an alcoholic who chain-smoked and relentlessly seduced women.

Oh, and he also envisioned him as a raging pervert, for some reason.

We know this to be true based on a deleted scene which would have painted everybody's favourite hero as the sort of guy you'd be actively trying to keep your daughter away from.

So what happens, you're wondering? Basically, in an early script, Marcus Brody comes to collect Indy to take him to the meet the government agents who enlist him for the mission against the Nazis, only for the pair to run into a student named Susan on the way. It's made clear that Indy is sleeping with Susan, and he even tries to put off the meeting for "4-5 minutes" whilst he takes Susan to his office to... well, you know.

In the final movie, it's made clear that many of the female students fancy Indy, but Indy is clearly taken aback by the attention. He's charmingly embarrassed by it, even. Once upon a time, though, he was very nearly a huge sleazeball - one so desperate to have sex with his students that he'd delay a meeting with the CIA.
