8 Disconcerting Things About The New Jurassic World Trailer
5. The Dinosaur CGI Looks A Bit Sh*tty
Yes: we're well aware that the CGI inherent to this trailer won't end up being representative of the final movie, but still... it doesn't look very good, does it? At least, twenty years after the original Jurassic Park, and even trailer-only CGI should definitely look better than the stuff we saw in that classic movie, and yet... nope. The CGI in the original Jurassic Park still looks like the best thing you ever saw. Which is highly confusing. Obviously the dinosaurs we'll glimpse in theatres when Jurassic World is finally released won't look as "fake" as they do in this teaser trailer, but you can't deny that there's almost no "wow" factor inherent to the beasts on show here... they just look a bit cheap. Which begs the question: why did they include so many shots of the dinosaurs in this trailer if they weren't finished? Wait: please, please don't tell us that they're finished.
