8 Disney Villains Who Weren't Actually That Evil

Toy Story's Sid is nothing more than a young kid who likes to play with toys. In that way, he's pretty similar to Andy. Perhaps his only crime is that he wasn't raised in as perfect an environment.

Sure, he's a little aggressive, but he's clearly got a lot going on in life. For a start, his house is nowhere near as impressive as Andy's - maybe his family have money problems? there's definitely a hint of absent parents (even when they're there). He's got braces, too - that's bound to lead to self-esteem issues.

So he lets off steam by dismantling his toys, so what? Better to get his rage and sadness out by destroying inanimate objects than flipping out at school. Sid's only a villain if he knew the toys were sentient beforehand, which it's established he doesn't when they scar him for life at the close of the film.

So what exactly did Sid do wrong?
