6. Jack Is A Delusion In Rose's Mind
The Theory: In Titanic, Rose feels trapped by her life as she's being forced to marry a possessive, heartless millionaire. In her most desperate moment Jack is dreamt up by her subconscious as a way of saving herself. Supposedly supporting this notion is that there are no records of Jack on the passenger list, and a lot of the events that happen with Jack aren't witnessed by other people.
Why It's Dumb: If this one is true, it totally ruins the point of the movie. If shes falling in love with an imaginary man thats not very romantic, and his self sacrifice is completely meaningless. There were no records of Jack because he won his ticket in a poker game five minutes before the ship set sail, as clearly seen in the movie. Numerous other characters are seen interacting with Jack, including scenes where Rose isnt even present. This includes her mother, her fiancée, his bodyguard, Jack's friend and so on.
In other words: Yes, he's real.
