2. Clint Eastwood Can't Decide If He Had Four Rats Or Only Three
He might be seen as the ultimate mans man, but in the 1950s Clint Eastwood was having a hard time finding his way into acting. Hes uncredited for most of his early work including movies like Never Say Goodbye, Tarantula and the delightful sounding Escapade In Japan. His very first role was that of a lab assistant in Revenge Of The Creature, a sequel to The Creature From The Black Lagoon. He plays a forgetful scientist who loses a lab rat and fears a cat has eaten it, until he puts his hand in his lab coat and pulls it out. Poor Clint is still a little rough around the edges as a performer, and he attempts to inject some humour into it by using an exaggerated voice; it doesnt work. This movie might be the reason he never tried a straight-up comedy, and his screen persona got considerably tougher as his skills increased.
