8 Embarrassing Movie Roles Tom Hardy Probably Regrets

4. Matt - LD 50 Lethal Dose

LD 50 Lethal Dose is about as good a movie as you'd expect from a film with that title: pretty darn terrible. It's also as low-budget as horror movies come, and features at least eight actors in leading roles who should consider choosing different career paths; Tom Hardy isn't one of them, but he can't be happy to have been part of this sh*t looking back at the result. What's worse, the premise - which has former animal rights activists trapped in an underground lab filled with experimental chambers - goes so crazy during the last third of the movie that you have to wonder whether the filmmakers purposely decided to sabotage their film in the most insane way imaginable because they realised it was so horrible. Hardy plays Matt, who is probably the most likeable character in a bunch of otherwise bland and forgettable dumbasses. Still, it's not enough; LD 50 Lethal Dose is the kind of horror flick an actor looks back on years later to find themselves saying: "What the f*ck was I thinking?"
