8 Embarrassingly Bad Movie Auditions Starring Famous Actors

6. Megan Fox (Transformers)

Role? Mikaela Banes

Did she get the part? Yes.

The Transformers franchise doesn't exactly rely on exceptional performances so much as it does explosions and action, but still, it's weird to think that poor auditions like this are able to land a person in a multi-million-dollar summer blockbuster. And its sequel.

To be fair to Fox, the dialogue she's given here isn't the strongest, but to be fair to the dialogue, she doesn't deliver it with any real oomph.

Her eyes stay blank and her face doesn't emote much of anything, the actress doing a fine job of mimicking her expressionless, robotic co-stars.

Whether you believe her looks ultimately won her the role or not, it's hard to be convinced otherwise based on this evidence, and the evidence ultimately found in the movie.

"I cannot believe that I'm here right now." Neither can we, Megan. Neither can we.

He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
