8 Most Epic Jean-Claude Van Damme Moments

5. Van Damme... Beats Himself Up (Double Impact)

Double Impact What's better than one Jean-Claude Van Damme you ask? Why two Jean-Claude Van Damme's of course! In 1991's Double Impact Van Damme plays twins Chad and Alex, who are separated at birth when their parents are brutally murdered by Chinese gangsters. 25 years later they are reunited in Hong Kong to seek some righteous payback. But Alex is a gruff, hard living smuggler and Alex is a spoiled, well dressed ladies man who was raised in America, so conflict feels inevitable. As the film has the delightful gimmick of seeing two Van Damme's interacting onscreen it would have been a tragic waste if they didn't fight at some point, and thankfully the filmmakers don't let us down. Alex, believing his girlfriend has cheated on him with Chad, gets very drunk and launches into a violent brawl with his confused brother halfway into the film. The ensuring fight sees them pummel several shades of crap out of each other and the surrounding set before finally being broken up. And if you don't have a big smile on your face watching this unfold than there's nothing I can do for you friend. The concept of two Van Damme's proved to be so popular that he did it again in films like Maximum Risk, Timecop and Replicant.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
