John Boyega, first known for his breakout role in Attack the Block, was thrust into immediate super-stardom following his casting as Finn in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Although it might have seemed like Boyega was enjoying his role in the franchise, after the release of The Rise of Skywalker he quickly put these assumptions to rest.

After the final entry in the trilogy released, Boyega made some thinly (and some less-thinly) veiled comments online about his experiences making the films. Then it all came to a head during an interview with GQ in September last year.

He had a few choice suggestions for Disney, stating "...what I would say to Disney is do not bring out a black character, market them to be much more important in the franchise than they are and then have them pushed to the side."

"...when it came to Kelly Marie Tran, when it came to John Boyega, you know f**k all... What they want you to say is, ‘I enjoyed being a part of it. It was a great experience...’ Nah, nah, nah. I’ll take that deal when it’s a great experience."

Guess it's safe to say he probably won't be back for a fourth Star Wars film.
