3. Woody Allen Sneezes When Offered Cocaine In Annie Hall...Because He Literally Couldn't Help It
It's such a typically Woody Allen scene, awkward yet hilarious and also incredibly charming. In the scene, Allen's character Alvy Singer is convinced by Annie (Diane Keaton) to try some cocaine. Upon being passed the snuff box, Alvy sneezes violently and creates a massive cloud of the powdered drug. What's even more hilarious, however, is that Allen's sneeze was entirely real. It's thought that either an allergic reaction or a small amount of powder entering Allen's nostrils caused the involuntary reaction, which was considered by test audiences to be so funny that it was kept in the final cut. In fact, the test audience laughed so much that a re-edit had to add time to accommodate for the laughter, making sure viewers wouldn't miss the next bit of dialogue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7k6GqVWWLNs
