X-Men Origins: Wolverine is terrible, but Liev Schreiber's Sabretooth was definitely a highlight. The actor has actually revealed that he's spoken to Hugh Jackman about returning, and while the fact that the events of that spinoff now never took place confuse things somewhat, having the villain come back to Wolverine's life in the same way he did the comics would work really well, showing a messed up side to their relationship. After murdering Logan's lover Silver Fox, Sabretooth returned each year on Wolverine's "birthday" to savagely beat the hero and remind him of everything he'd lost. A cameo appearance of some sort featuring a brutally violent sequence between these two would be a treat for fans, and while Sabretooth having a larger role is obviously more desirable, that may not be possible due to Schreiber's Ray Donovan commitments.
