8 Great Characters DC Movies Have Completely Screwed Up
Based on past experience, looking forward to the DC Films Universe might be a mistake.
When it comes to making great superhero movies, Warner Bros. don't exactly have a great track record away from a few obvious modern classics. That's really frustrating too, especially as they're not restricted in the same way as Marvel Studios when it comes to rights issues. They have a whole catalogue of DC Comics characters to choose from, but they've continuously got them wrong during the transition from page to screen! There's obviously a lot of excitement surrounding the DC Films Universe, but when you look back at their horrendous track record, it's hard not to fret about Warner Bros. once again screwing up a bunch of the publisher's best comic book characters. In fact, at least a few more members of the Justice League one day being added to this list feels like a depressing guarantee. Going back to the heroes and villains they've already dropped the ball with though, and it's actually easy to understand why it's taken the studio so long to take get the DC Films Universe up and running, especially when they've delivered flop after flop usually because of how they mishandle their best characters. Here, you will find the eight best examples of the studio's biggest failings and why comic book fans should hate how these icons have all been completely and utterly messed up on the big screen.
