8 Great Hero Vs Hero Movies That Should Happen After Batman Vs Superman

7. Cable Vs The Silver Surfer

Surfer Cable Cable fighting against the Silver Surfer is on of the greatest scenes in comic book history and occurs in "Cable and Deadpool #10". It Cable after he has learned to suppress his debilitating techno-organic virus to a nearly effortless degree, which enables him to access the full potential of his massive psionic abilities. Cable attempts to use his powers to encourage the people of the world to live peacefully, but using his powers on this scale also means that he will die, as his body isn't strong enough to physically maintain them. As a result, he attempts to carry out his plan quickly, defeating the X-Men, Power Pack and S.H.I.E.L.D. with minimal exertion. However, they even the odds somewhat by recruiting the Silver Surfer to aid them in battle. Cable and the Surfer battled ferociously, destroying cities as they did so, but the buildings were immediately rebuilt by Cable's powerful and intricate telekinesis as the battle was taking place (which would look epic in live action) and this is all happening while Cable tries in vain to explain his good intentions to the Surfer. Cable managed to destroy the Surfer's board (which is a highly impressive feat in itself) and briefly held his own against the Surfer, but he was ultimately defeated when the powerful alien imbued with the Power Cosmic completely destroyed his arm. Eventually, Cable recovered but his psionic powers had virtually disappeared. The great potential for this to appear on screen comes with the fact that Fox owns the rights to both the X-Men characters €“ of which Cable is one €“ and the Fantastic Four characters €“ of which the Silver Surfer is one €“ and a crossover universe is already planned, so this could theoretically happen. Cable is a character who really should have been utilised in a movie already - he is awesome - and seeing him going up against the extremely powerful Silver Surfer would be amazing.
