1. Pokemon
I must admit, whilst the rest of the items included here are most definitely ridiculous and should never come anywhere near actually happening, this is one which I'm actually sort of hoping comes to fruition. I'll be amazed if there are too many people who were even vaguely young in the late 90s/early 00s, you will have been gripped by Pokemon in some form, whether the cartoon, the games or even the cards, seemingly every young person on the planet was hooked on it.
Premise: Ash, a young boy recently moved into a new home with his mother, is recovering from the mysterious disappearance of his father, who vanished without a traced on the day of their arrival in their new home. Coming into manhood at just the right time, Ash leaves the household to begin his journey towards becoming a Pokemon master, a career which would support his mother for the rest of her days. In order to do so, he is granted the possession of a pikachu, but must first control the creatures volatile temper. Ash soon discovers that his father was murdered by the evil Team Rocket, and so must now choose: take revenge for the death of his father, or maintain his pursuit for pokemon glory to support his mother.
