8 Horror Characters We Were Happy To See Killed

2. Ronnie White - Rob Zombie's Halloween

Of all of the characters featured here in this article, nobody deserved their fate more than Ronnie White from Rob Zombie's first Halloween movie.

Played by genre favourite Bill Forsythe, Ronnie is the abusive prick boyfriend of Deborah Myers - the mother of a certain Michael Myers.

Ronnie spends the opening act of Halloween berating Deborah, mocking the ten-year-old Michael, being creepily suggestive to Michael's older sister Judith, and even screaming at Michael's baby sister Angel. He's slimy, he's detestable, and he makes your skin crawl, and thus you find yourself cheering Michael on when he decides to finally turn his murderous intentions towards Ronnie.

It's fair to say that the aggressive, abusive behaviour of Ronnie actually plays a part in making Michael Myers who he is. As in, Ronnie's antics play a part in pushing Michael to an edge that he can never, ever come back from.

Thankfully for the audience, Ronnie ends up being the second victim of young Michael's rage. After Michael brutally kills a school bully after caving his head in with a baseball bat, he returns home to find Ronnie passed out drunk. Using duct tape to secure Ronnie to his chair, the young Michael slits Ronnie's throat and then stands over him so that this asshat can see exactly who has killed him.
