8 Horror Characters Whose Fates Were Only Revealed In Spin-Offs

6. Here's Damien From The Omen All Grown Up!

Chucky TV Series SyFy
A&E

The Omen (1976) will forever live in the annals of history as one of the most iconic scary flicks ever made and as one of the creepiest depictions of a kid in media. Little Damien was a frightening youngster, but not even the Antichrist himself can fight the ever moving hand of time. He had to grow up eventually, and while the original movie sequels did step into that light, this A&E drama tried to go even further.

Acting as a sequel to the original movie (and even featuring footage from the flick as flashbacks), this TV series followed adult Damien as he tried to live an ordinary life, having forgotten about his satanic origin. But, revelations occurred that made his status as the Antichrist come bounding back.

The series is, to put it bluntly, not good at all. The leading performance from Bradley James (whom many might remember as Arthur from Merlin) was strong enough, but the plot, direction and writing were weak.

Still, it attempted to realign The Omen's story canon and posed a different outlook on how the creepy kid might have grown up than what the sequels did. That was, at least, until it got cancelled after only one season. Don't mess with the Antichrist, or you'll get burnt.
