Netflix's amusing horror satire Vampires vs. the Bronx kicks off with apparent protagonist Vivian (Sarah Gadon) getting her nails done at a Dominican nail salon owned by Becky (Zoe SaldaƱa).

Per the movie's general critique of gentrification, Becky reveals to Vivian that she's imminently selling her business to real estate group Murnau Properties - as in, Nosferatu director F.W. Murnau, get it?

And at that moment, Murnau broker Frank Polidori (Shea Whigham) enters the establishment to finalise the deal and sign the relevant contracts.

Amid small talk Becky mentions that she doesn't have a husband or partner, at which point Polidori's mood changes. Just as the contract is signed, a vampire appears behind Becky and kills her.

Despite her screen time being less than two minutes, Saldana gets an "and" recognition at the end of the credits' roll-call.

It's never been stated precisely how the low-budget production roped in the Avatar actress for the scene, though going by her minimal screen time and the single-location shoot, it was probably shot in an evening at absolute most.
