8 Horror Movies You Didn't Know Were Connected

7. Creepshow And Jason Goes To Hell

The classic slasher movies have some of the biggest interconnecting storylines out there. From Freddy vs. Jason, to the 'Jason is a deadite' theory, to the continuous posters seeded throughout the franchises - the big bads obviously like to hang out in their downtime. But it's not an exclusive club for these horror icons, with Jason Goes To Hell hiding a smaller, but still very neat reference in plain sight.

Tucked away in the Voorhees's basement that bounty hunter Duke goes to investigate, is not only the original Necronomicon from The Evil Dead series, but also a mysterious crate emblazoned with 'Arctic Expedition'.

The latter is the same one from Stephen King's Creepshow, containing a tiny yeti-like terror that subsequently kills anyone that gets too close to it.

The link between the three movies conjoining in this basement makes for one terrifying reality, where slasher villains and creepy creatures roam freely.

Either that, or Jason is just quite the collector of horror film artefacts.
