She receives a lot of hate from audiences, and it seems to come down to her peculiar business practices, the bizarre opinions she shares, and an overall aura of snobbishness.

Regarding her performances, Paltrow has always been solid, if bland. It probably doesn't help your case for popularity when most of your roles see you sticking to a very mundane and unchanging typecast that isn't very exciting.
